An Older Body

I loved having the chance to draw an older woman. She was a great model. I like the crease on her belly and the flip of her breast. It was interesting to hear, in my head, all the words of prejudice that came along with seeing an older woman's naked body. I'm proud of her for continuing to model.

That's the older body alright. My Granddaughter saw me in the bathtub. She asked " Nana why are those down there " (pointing at my breast) I said " because they are old, and when you get old your breast will hang down too" My Granddaughter surprised said no, no not mine. I hadn't' thought about old breast and young breast until then.
