Back in December I was in NYC for my Crane Beach book release. One of my favorite things to do is to walk around NYC. I've done three major borough photo walks so far but I am always walking hither and yon in NY. Here is a series of photos from a walk I took starting in Chinatown where my parents live, walking over the Williamsburg Bridge, stopping at Mast Brother's Chocolate, and heading back home to Chinatown. Most of the photos are of the graffiti on the bridge.
The goddess of the Williamsburg Bridge - note the cactus in her hair.
Notice the devil baby in the following pix:
What amazed me was that these little paper shapes stuck to the bridge with duct tape survived Hurricane Sandy!
Stopped for coffee at Blue Bottle Coffee and then on to Mast Brothers
Bags of cocoa beans with chocolate bar wrappers in the back:
Notice the little hand:
Devil baby and cigarette:
Don't you just love New Yorkers?

I have never experienced NYC, so thank you for the small and beautiful tour.
